1. Active master’s student in the Odd Semester 2025/2026.

2. Completed or passed courses equivalent to 15–16 credits (SKS) with a minimum GPA of 2.50.

   • Written in proper and formal academic language.

   • Must include background, research questions, methodology, and literature review.

   • Maximum length: 5,000 words.

Lembaran Antropologi Volume 4 No. 2 Year 2025 is taking a special theme discussing the role of anthropology in the production of knowledge and academic debates concerning performance and the arts from the perspective of decolonisation.

The Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences UGM, invites Master’s and Doctoral students of Anthropology to join the workshop “Archives of Ethnographic Encounters.” This workshop offers a space for reflecting on the multitemporal dimension of ethnography, especially through the use of creative methods such as photography, video making, sound recording, and creative writing.

The workshop expands our understanding of what constitutes an archive and encourages participants to consider the ethical implications of working with materials gathered by others—be they researchers or interlocutors.
