The Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) will organize the Undergraduate Thesis Proposal Seminar (Sempro) in Cultural Anthropology for the Odd Semester of the Academic Year 2025/2026, with the following details:

Requirements

1. Active undergraduate student in the Odd Semester 2025/2026.

2. Completed at least 120 credits (SKS) with a minimum GPA of 2.00.

3. Passed the courses Ethnographic Research Methods and Ethnographic Research Practice (minimum grade C).

Required Documents

1. Thesis proposal manuscript (docx/pdf) with the following criteria:

   • Written in proper and formal academic language.

   • Includes background, research questions, methodology, and literature review.

   • Maximum length: 3,500 words.

2. Academic Transcript/Latest Study Report (pdf).*

3. Proof of Tuition Fee Payment (pdf/jpg/jpeg).*

4. Latest Course Registration (KRS) (pdf).*
