Dear Bachelor’s students of Anthropology UGM,
For the Autumn 2026 academic year, the Department of Anthropology at UGM is pleased to relaunch its student exchange program with the Department of Global Development and Planning at the University of Agder (Norway).
Through the Erasmus+ program, UGM students are invited to apply for this opportunity to join regular teaching activities, experience a different academic environment, and earn 10–20 ECTS credits, which can be converted into SKS. Besides, this program encourages the elected students to carry out research in Kristiansand for their bachelor thesis. This fully funded program covers round-trip airfare, tuition fees, accommodation, and living costs.
Requirements
- Letter of Interest (300 words)
- Brief Research Proposal (500 words)
- Passed “Ethnography Research Method (MPE)” [minimum B]
- Obtain at “A-” on Academic Writing
- English Profiency Certificate (recommended)
Eligibility
- Third and fourthyear students (Anthropology)
- Strong commitment to participating in regular teaching activities and conducting ethnographic research
- Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, and writing)
