ogyakarta — The Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, is pleased to announce the opening of the Dissertation Research Grant for students enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Anthropology. This funding initiative aims to support doctoral candidates conducting innovative and impactful dissertation research that contributes to the advancement of anthropological knowledge.
Each grant recipient will receive Rp5,000,000 in research funding. The grant may be used to support a wide range of research activities, including fieldwork, qualitative and quantitative data collection, laboratory analysis, archival research, and the preparation of scientific publications. This program also seeks to strengthen the research capacity of doctoral students by encouraging the use of contemporary methodological approaches, strong research ethics, and collaboration with communities, institutions, and interdisciplinary scholars.
Awardees will be selected through a competitive process based on research proposals and funding objectives. This selection process ensures that the grant is awarded to students who demonstrate strong academic commitment and high potential in their research endeavors.
