The Anthropology Study Program at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, is offering a research grant (beariset) for students who are currently writing their thesis during the even semester of 2024/2025 or the odd semester of 2025/2026. This grant is intended to subsidize the cost of field research that supports the students’ thesis projects.
Through this grant program, students are free to design the use of the field research budget, with a maximum allocation of IDR 4,000,000 per person. The funds may cover various research-related expenses, including travel, meals, and accommodation relevant to fieldwork.
Application Requirements
To apply for this thesis research grant, students must meet the following requirements:
- Have passed the core courses of the study program with a minimum grade of B.
- Regularly report research progress to their academic supervisor.
- Write a thesis based on independently conducted field research.
- Publish their research results in a scholarly format, such as a journal, photo essay, or other relevant forms of publication.
Required Documents
Interested students are required to submit the following documents:
- A research proposal of no more than 3,000 words.
- A budget plan with a maximum amount of IDR 4,000,000. The approved budget may be less than the requested amount.
- The latest academic transcript.
