The Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences UGM, will hold a publication workshop focusing on the writing and publication of scholarly articles in the field of anthropology. The workshop will feature Dr.phil. Geger Riyanto, a lecturer from the Department of Anthropology, Universitas Indonesia, as the main instructor.
The workshop will take place over three days—Friday to Sunday, 5–7 December 2025, from 09.00 to 17.00 WIB—and will be held at the Anthropology Reading Room, 5th Floor, Soegondo Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM.
This workshop is open to Master’s and Doctoral students of Anthropology at UGM, as well as students from other Humanities programs at UGM who have an interest in anthropological studies. Participants may join the workshop with or without an existing draft of their academic manuscript. The publication clinic sessions on 6–7 December will prioritize Doctoral students of Anthropology who already have a draft paper. Master’s students in Anthropology and Doctoral students in Humanities who have prepared drafts may also take part, with limited slots available.
