Dr. Muhammad Zamzam Fauzanafi, S.Ant., M.A.
Profil
Muhammad Zamzam Fauzanafi, S.Ant., M.A. adalah staf pengajar pada Jurusan Antropologi, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Ia menyelesaikan studi Sarjana di Jurusan Antropologi Universitas Gadjah Mada dan Master dalam bidang Antropologi Visual di Granada Centre For Visual Anthropology, University of Manchester, Inggris. Ia menjadi salah satu pendiri Yayasan Kampung Halaman, sebuah lembaga untuk remaja dan anak muda belajar memahami potensi dan persoalan di lingkungan tempat mereka tinggal melalui media. Sepak terjangnya di bidang pendidikan, penelitian, seni-budaya, dan aktivisme mengantarkannya pada banyak penghargaan seperti National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards - President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities USA (2011); Young Asian Leaders, Asia Society (2011-2012); dan Young Researcher Award, Biro Oktoroi Rooseno and Indonesian Academy of Sciences (2012). Dalam studi-studinya ia menekuni bidang antropologi visual, antropologi inderawi, dan antropologi digital. Buku-buku yang pernah ia hasilkan antara lain Reog Ponorogo: Menari di Antara Dominasi dan Keragaman (2005); Melampaui Penglihatan: Kumpulan Esai Antropologi Visual tentang Media (Audio) Visual, Seni, dan Penonton (2012); Inventarisasi dan Kajian Komunitas Adat Sedulur Sikep, Desa Sumber, Kecamatan Kradenan, Kabupaten Blora (2012). Selain itu juga menghasilkan berbagai artikel di jurnal ilmiah, serta karya-karya antropologi visual seperti film dan foto. Saat ini sedang menyelesaikan studi doktoral di Universiteit Leiden, Belanda dengan topik penelitian mengenai Kewargaan Digital dan gerakan anti-korupsi di Banten.
