Profil

Dr. Elan A. Lazuardi adalah staf pengajar di Departemen Antropologi, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Ia menyelesaikan studi Sarjana Antropologi di Jurusan Antropologi UGM pada tahun 2009. Kemudian ia memperoleh gelar Master Antropologi Media dari School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, Inggirs di tahun 2013. Pada pertengahan tahun 2020, ia memperoleh gelar Doktor Antropologi dari The Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales, Australia. Selama masa studinya, Elan telah turut serta dalam berbagai penelitian di bidang antropologi kesehatan utamanya pada isu akses kesehatan (terutama masalah seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi, HIV, serta permasalahan akses kesehatan publik), maupun antropologi kesehatan serta antropologi urban. Pengalamannya dalam topik-topik kesehatan dibuktikan melalui keikutsertaannya sebagai tim peneliti Centre for Tropical Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Yogyakarta, Indonesia) dari 2012-2016, asisten peneliti di Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW Australia and The Kirby Institute, UNSW (Sydney, Australia) tahun 2018, dan tahun 2020 sebagai konsultan peneliti untuk Indonesian AIDS Coalition (Jakarta, Indonesia).
